Westside Vineyard Sundays

Sunday Morning

Westside Vineyard meets every Sunday morning at 9:30 am. The service begins with music and song (worship). This worship time is for prayer, praise, expressing adoration, and drawing near to God as a group and individually. All are encouraged to personally connect with God. Children and adults are invited to stay together for this portion of the meeting (the nursery opens for infants in the morning at 10:15 am). Service followed by a short break the preaching will start. Service concludes at about 11:30 am.

Evening Holy Spirit
Encounter Service

Sunday night's service may have a longer time for singing than in the morning. The teaching or preaching on Sunday night is usually shorter than in the morning and is followed by an extended time of prayer ministry and encountering/experiencing God through the Holy Spirit’s ministry. The emphasis changes from week to week according to what the leadership is sensing God wants to do. Trained prayer team members are available to minister to individuals who want prayer.

Westside Vineyard Children’s ministry:

Nursery:

The nursery is for children up to 36 months old. The nursery is found upstairs in room 222. Children in this age group may be brought to the nursery at 10:15 and picked up at the end of the service. The nursery is equipped with a paging device, so that you may be alerted if your child is in need of you. The red digital screen on the left-hand wall of the auditorium will light up with your number if you are needed. The nursery has a room for changing babies as well as feeding babies. The nursery workers are volunteers accountable to the church leadership.

Kingdom Kids (3 years to 5th grade):

During the morning service’s break, children age three, up to those in the fifth-grade, are invited to Kids’ Church. Parents must take their children to their classroom (see back of bulletin for classroom) and sign them in. Kids church is an experience where children sing, learn and make friends through bible lessons, hands on object lessons, games, stories, and more. Children in kids church do some things all together and some things with the children closest to their own age. Children may be picked up and signed out of class immediately following the service.

Overseers: Ray & Donnell Burns: (503) 452-5094

Jr. High:

Children in sixth, seventh, or eighth grade gather for the junior high meeting right after worship Sunday morning in room B-2 in the basement for a time to learn about God in a way that is very relevant to them. Children in Jr. High do not have to be signed in by a parent.

Kids’ Klub (during PM service):

Kids’ Klub is for children ages nine to thirteen years. Kids’ Klub happens only during the evening meetings (see back of bulletin for the weeks that Kids’ Klub takes place). Children may go down to the basement while the offering is being given. Kids’ Klub is a time for kids to hang out and play in an organized and safe manner. Kids’ Klub workers are people with a heart for kids and a desire to bless them and have fun. Children should be picked up by 9 pm if they have not already returned to the auditorium.
